This year seems to have gone so quickly when I look back at how little a dent I feel I've made on my master's dissertation (even though its more work than most of my peers). But I decided to focus more on my personal projects these holidays (what else are year-end holidays for?). Time for me to focus on my dissertation before the semester's out (one week to be exact)!

BUT I've done some artwork recently. I'm trying to get familiar with animal anatomy so I'm gonna try drawing more realistically (since I failed so badly when drawing stylized big cats without understanding their underlying anatomy). In other news, electricity was out on Saturday, water was out today and internet connection has been slower than dialup for the past week. I suppose telkom's next (knock on wood). I wonder if service in SA will improve next year with the 2010 soccer? We're certainly paying enough for 'service' and 'maintenance' charges!
